This guide shows how to move or change the geographical workplace for an employee in the DFØ app.
The guide is intended for leaders (approver 2) who need to move an employee to their unit or change the geographical workplace for an employee.
Register Move position
Click on Move position.
Overview
You will see a list of all sent, approved, and returned forms.
To create a new form, click on the + sign at the top right of the screen.
If you click on one of the already registered forms, you will enter the registration. There, you can see more details and edit returned forms.
Employee
Here, you select the date from which the change will apply and the employee for whom the change will apply.
Start date
You select the start date from the calendar.
Search for employee
Select the employee for whom the change will apply by clicking on Search for employee. Here, you can search for all employees in the organisation.
Note that it is the receiving leader who should move an employee to their unit. You cannot move employees away from your unit.
Employment status
Here, you can see information about how the employee is registered on the start date you selected. In this screen, you can change the organisational unit, geographical workplace, and/or cost allocation. Additionally, you can write a note to the approver if you wish.
Organisation unit
If the employee is to be moved to another unit, you change this here. You will see an overview of all the units you have access to within the organisation.
Geographical work location
If you have moved the employee to another unit, the geographical workplace will automatically be updated to match the new unit. You can override this if necessary.
If an employee only needs to change their geographical workplace (PDO), without being moved, you make this change here. This change can only be performed for employees you have access to.
Cost allocation
If you have moved the employee to another unit, the cost allocation will automatically be updated to match the new unit. You can override this if necessary.
Submit the form
When the registration is complete, you can see a summary of what has been registered in the three-dot menu (three dots at the top right). This summary can be saved as a PDF.
To submit the form, click Send at the top right.
Returned form
If there are errors in the form, the approver can return it to you for correction. You will find the returned form in your inbox.
When you open the task in the inbox, a message from the approver will appear with information on what needs to be corrected.
Once the necessary corrections have been made, the form must be returned to the approver for re-approval. The form can also be deleted from the three-dot menu at the top right.
