DFØ app

You can use the DFØ app to send travel expense claims, register remunerations and working hours, view your payslip and more.

Get started

Download the app

Download the app from App store if you have an iPhone or from Google Play if you have an Android phone. You will find the app if you search for "DFO app".

You can also download the app for tablet, but you can only use the DFØ app on one device at the same time for security reasons.

To use the app you must have the current iOS or Android version, or one of the three previous versions. You cannot use the app on a Windows phone.

You need about 45 MB of free storage on iPhone and about 12 MB on Android. If you will be registering hours, the DFØ app will use just under 0,2 MB.

First-time login instructions

The first time you are using the DFØ app, log on via ID-porten. ID-porten is a common login solution to online public services in Norway. You can use MinID, BankID or BankID for mobile phones to log on.

Every third month you will have to log on via ID-porten again.

ID-porten works best with Chrome or Safari as the browser on your mobile phone.

Access to photos

The DFØ app asks for access to your photos in order for you to be able to take photos of your receipts and upload in the app.

PIN Code and fingerprint

After you have logged in via ID-porten, you will choose a four-digit PIN code.

The next time you are using the app, use the PIN code to log in. You can also use fingerprint to log on, if your mobile phone supports this.

How to activate login with fingerprint

  1. Click on "Settings" in the DFØ app.
  2. Click on "Activate fingerprint authentication".
